John Robertson

John Robertson has nurtured a lifelong love of science fiction while also studying science and working in the energy industry. He observed the evolution of climate change concerns for half a century, while serving as an executive for one of the largest renewable power companies in North America, with investments in wind and solar power, geothermal and small hydro power as well as new technology research and development ventures in power storage and solar panel efficiency. He has also served as an executive for one of the largest conventional energy infrastructure companies in North America. His undergraduate degree included chemistry and physics while his doctorate was in managerial economics with minors in industrial process optimization and macroeconomics. John is an ardent outdoorsman, camper, hiker, hunter, adventure race runner, kayaker and white water canoeist. He is married with four daughters and five grandsons. Peregrinus Orior is his first novel.
