Lauren G. Flanagan has three sisters and three brothers. She attended McGill University and is married to a man she met her first week there. Together, they have three children: Aislinn, Keegan, and Brenna. They also have two dogs. She lives and writes in Vancouver, Canada, but her heart belongs to the unnamed town in "I Wed the Sea," her debut novel.
